Sealed bids for the Runway 1/19 Rehabilitation project will be received by the Ware County Board of Commissioners, Waycross Georgia at the Office of County Commissioners, 305 Oak Street, Suite 227, Waycross, Georgia 31501 until Thursday, March 5, 2026 2:00 P.M. local time. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 A.M.Thursday, February 12, 2026 in the Waycross-Ware County Airport Terminal. Site visit will follow the pre-bid meeting. The project consists of the rehabilitation of the existing asphalt runway pavement and existing taxiway connector pavement. The existing paved runway shoulders shall be rehabilitated via pavement rejuvenation; this work shall be included as an additive alternate in the bid.
