Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding agreement to use the Services.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of account information and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
• You may not create an account using a false identity, on behalf of someone other than yourself, or if your access has previously been suspended or revoked.

2. Permitted Use

• Scrape, harvest, or download data at a rate that interferes with the Services or violates a publisher's robots or terms.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or proprietary data models.
• Circumvent access controls, quota limits, or security mechanisms.
• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose, to compete directly withFunding Landscape, or in a manner that infringes third-party rights.

We reserve the right to monitor usage, throttle API calls, or suspend accounts to protect the stability of the platform.

3. Opportunity Listings and Content

Funding Landscape aggregates opportunities from public and partner sources. While we aim to maintain accurate and timely listings:

• We do not guarantee that opportunities are current, complete, or suitable for any purpose. Always confirm details with the issuing organization before applying.
• Any evidence snippets, program summaries, or ranking signals are informational only and do not constitute endorsement or legal or financial advice.
• You may submit feedback, corrections, or uploads. By doing so, you grant Funding Landscape a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content to operate and improve the Services.

4. Saved Searches, Alerts, and Communications

• By enabling alerts or digests, you authorize us to send service-related emails to the address on file. Each message includes an unsubscribe link.
• We may send important service or security notices even if you opt out of marketing communications.
• You are responsible for ensuring your contact information remains accurate so you receive critical updates.

5. Fees

Some features may be offered on a paid or usage-based basis. Any fees, billing cycle, and payment terms will be presented at the time of purchase or upgrade. Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable. We may change prices or introduce new charges by providing reasonable notice.

6. Confidentiality and Data Protection

Each party agrees to protect confidential information disclosed by the other. We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. By using the Services, you consent to such processing.

7. Third-Party Services

The Services may integrate or provide links to third-party sites, datasets, or APIs. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. Funding Landscape is not responsible for third-party content, availability, or actions.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.

Funding Landscape does not guarantee that funding will be awarded, that deadlines are accurate, or that use of the Services will meet your requirements. You are solely responsible for compliance with any application rules or obligations.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Funding Landscape AND ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN ALL CASES, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM OR (B) $100 USD.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Funding Landscape and our officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or connected with your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these Terms, misuse the Services, or create risk or potential legal exposure for us or other users. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, governing law) will continue in effect.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

13. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide advance notice via email or through the Services. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
