This synopsis is to inform industry that Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue a solicitation to procure QTY 2 Gensym G2 deployment licenses to support lab-based development, testing, and troubleshooting of the Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) system on all test sites and labs. The AAG system is a CVN-based aircraft arrestment system that utilizes Gensym G2 software as part of its health monitoring and prognostics system. The Government intends to procure the above items on a sole source basis to SHI International Corp (CAGE: 1HTF0) under the authority of 10USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
