The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award a firm fixed contract for New Jersey Intra Coastal Waterway Bank/Shoreline Stabilization Cape May Canal/Point Pleasant Canal in Cape May, New Jersey. DESCRIPTION: The contract work consists of construction of a revetment of approximately 220 linear feet on the north bank of the Cape May Canal, in Lower Township, New Jersey and placement of riprap toe protection at the Point Pleasant Canal bulkhead in Point Pleasant, NJ. Work at the Cape May Canal site includes clearing and grubbing, removal and disposal of gabion basket wire, excavation, placement of geotextile, installation of marine mattress, placement of riprap and imported sand fill, restoration of the area including topsoil, seeding and mulching, and fabrication...
