About this opportunity
The Base Emergency Communications System (BECS) intends to solicit and award Sole Source contract in accordance with FAR subpart 13.501, Special Documentation Requirements, to L3 Harris Technologies Inc. The BECS program modernization effort focuses on upgrading and ensuring the interoperability of Army public safety communications. This initiative supports the integration of Deven�s Reserve Force Training Area�s (RFTA) legacy Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system into the Army CONUS Enterprise (ACE) LMR architecture, in conjunction with enhancing interoperability within the BECS capabilities.
