The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to award a sole source purchase order to Duke University Substrate Services Core & Research Support at the Durham VA Medical Center in Durham, NC as part of a Research and Development study for the metabolomics and proteomic lab services that will inform our plasma-based signature of outcomes after HCV cure and are relevant to Veterans with severe liver disease analyses. The Contractor, Duke University, will prepare liver tissue and conduct targeted mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) to profile metabolites using Q500, oxylipin, and bile acid kits, as well as profile proteins in tissue.
