Special Notice Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Procurement The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 17, intends to place a firm-fixed priced contract with Lone Star Communication, Inc. for the installation of the Rauland ResponderNet/Responder 5 nurse call hardware. Lone Star Communication Inc. has provided a proprietary letter from the manufacturer (Rauland) stating that they are the only authorized Rauland Distributor in the greater San Antonio, Texas market area to supply, install, and service out products and have full warranty privileges.
