About this opportunity
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the preventative maintenance (twice per year) on two (2) COMET X-Ray units. The Government maintains x-ray machines in order to examine and measure the conditions of equipment and components that suport Trident submarine maintenance. X-ray machines use high voltage to produce x-rays. This equipment is susceptible to electrical arcing and other physical damage that may pose extreme danger to personnel if not properly maintained.
