Notice of Intent to Sole Source for IXRF Systems Atlas XRF Instrument Service Maintenance Agreement. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, the Department of Energy (DOE), National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole source basis to IXRF Systems to purchase the Atlas XRF Instrument Service Maintenance Agreement to assure satisfactory operation of the existing NETL owned Atlas XRF instrument. This is considered a sole source to IXRF Systems because, to the best of the NETL�s knowledge, based on market research conducted IXRF Systems is the only known source that can provide the service maintenance for NETL�s existing Atlas XRF instrument.
