The United States Air Force, 96th Test Wing at Eglin Air Force Base, is conducting market research to identify sources capable of providing "Brand Name or Equal" Hyperspectral Imaging Systems (HIS). The requirement is for one (1) Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Short-Wave Infrared / Mid-Wave Infrared (SWIR/MWIR) system, with an option to purchase one (1) additional Mid-Wave Infrared / Long-Wave Infrared (MWIR/LWIR) system. These instruments are required for the remote detection, measurement, and real-time spectral analysis of materials and dynamic events in a field-testing environment.
