STATEMENT OF WORK 1.0 Introduction/Background: Compressor B, located in IRT�s refrigeration plant recently had a leak form due to a compromised shaft seal. This compressor is needed to ensure full availability of IRT�s operating envelope. It is currently inoperable until the seal is replaced. 2.0 Scope of Work: This task involves replacing the compressor B shaft seal. 3.0 Objectives: Upon replacement of the seal, the compressor will be returned to normal operation and fulfill the full complement of IRT�s cooling capacity. 4.0 Description of the Work/Contractor Tasks: This task is very simple in that the contractor will only be responsible for replacing the seal.
