AFMETCAL at Heath OH intends to solicit and award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) in accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services and RFO 12.201-1 Simplified Procedures for the purchase of a Torque Calibration System Upgrade 250-2000 lbf-ft to Snap-On, A Division of LDSC Holdings, LLC (Cage 55719). Only Snap-on can provide the necessary upgrade due to the proprietary nature of the original system manufactured by CDI. Snap-on purchased CDI and manufactures equipment specifically designed to interface with CDI systems.
