The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), is releasing a Request for Information (RFI) to conduct market research for its upcoming National Industrial Security System (NISS) Increment 2 (NI2) system. DCSA administers the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), overseeing about 12,500 defense contractor facilities to protect national security information. The new NI2 application will be a critical service for both U.S. and foreign-based entities to submit official declarations regarding Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI).
