BACKGROUND NIST has a state-of-the-art research laboratory on its Boulder campus (the Katharine Blodgett Gebbie Building) to support the most sensitive research done at NIST. To support research activities on the Boulder campus, NIST maintains a liquid nitrogen tank, fill station, and delivery system outside of the Katherine Blodgett Gebbie Building.
