This notice is being published in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals. The proposed procurement is for a one-time, firm fixed price purchase of 113,000 lbs of Fireproofing Chemical, Coating Compound, Thermal Insulation, commonly called thermal coat resin to support McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (MCAAP). International Paint, LLC currently has the conforming product on the Qualified Product List (QPL) which has been tested and approved for use on MCAAP�s production lines.
