THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE, NOT A REQUEST FOR A QUOTE (RFQ). A RFQ WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND QUOTES WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. In accordance with FAR 6.103.1, the Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis for: 1) To refurbish 125 Fuze Cases � 1 Job To Kaman Precision, 217 Smith Street, Middletown, CT 06457 as the only source. Kaman Precision, as they are the current Fuze manufacturer that maintains our cases and they have the equipment, knowledge and expertise to weld the special aluminum for this effort, which must be done under a vacuum with equipment able to handle energetics.
