The U.S. Department of State’s Embassy in Honduras announces an open competition for past participants (“alumni”) of U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs to submit applications to the 2026 Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF). All AEIF 2026 projects must support U.S. priorities and strengthen ties between the United States and Honduras. U.S. priorities may include regional security, celebration of U.S. excellence tied to the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence, building economic prosperity, and promoting use of U.S. science, technology, and innovation.
