THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE, NOT A REQUEST FOR A QUOTE (RFQ).? A RFQ WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND QUOTES WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. In accordance with FAR 6.103.1, the Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis for: Evaluation, repair and testing services of RF hardware To Empower RF Systems, Inc. 316 W. Florence Ave. Inglewood, CA 90301. The repairs needed for the RF hardware specified in this order must be carried out by the original equipment manufacturer, Empower RF Systems, Inc. Because the software and firmware controllers are uniquely integrated with the RF hardware using proprietary methods, no other vendor possesses the necessary expertise or access to perform these repairs.
