Argonne is partnering with the Department of Transportation�s (DOT) National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to develop advanced models of modern vehicle and powertrain technologies. This work depends on detailed vehicle and component data as essential inputs. At the request of DOT NHTSA, this year�s test vehicle will be a 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid (AWD), selected for its specifications, internal powertrain characteristics, and strong market presence.
