This public notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies and services per FAR Part 12. The solicitation is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13.5, simplified acquisition procedures. The solicitation is released as a single-award IDIQ firm-fixed price contract competition. The Library of Congress (Library) owns and operates a variety of historic and contemporary equipment for the preservation of film formats. This equipment includes motion picture film viewing flatbeds, motion picture motorized winders, splicers, synchronizers, and manual rewinders.
