About this opportunity
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District is soliciting for rough mowing and fire precaution mowing services within the Willamette Valley Project locations in western Oregon. Rough mow areas are managed as open grassland for the benefit of wildlife and plants. These areas are typically mowed once per year in the fall to maintain open vegetation and prevent encroachment by trees, shrubs, and blackberry canes. Fire precaution mowing involves managing lines and managing entire areas before fire season. These areas are mowed just before fire season. This contract outlines the approximate schedule of mowing sites, and mowing shall be completed within that window, weather permitting.
