Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) Desert Southwest Region (DSW) intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed-price contract to Nexus Power Solutions LLC, a SAM-registered small business, to procure seventy-eight (78) ABB-Hitachi Energy brand name 30-nF (nanofarad) line-to-ground capacitors (part number part number 2GHV05029A0002) for WAPA DSW�s Mead Substation near Boulder City, Nevada. The new capacitors will facilitate WAPA DSW�s mission of replacing Mead�s existing aging/failing 30-nF solder joint type capacitors.
