DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Louisville District has issued Request for Proposal (RFP) Solicitation W912QR-26-R-A049 for the Design-Build (D/B) new Construction of Small Arms Ammunition Magazine (SAAM), Blue Grass Army Depot (BGAD), Richmond, Kentucky. The project includes the following scope: construction of a 170,000 SF Ammunition Storehouse for Small Arms Ammunition and a Munitions Surveillance Workshop and to accommodate required egress components. The facility includes loading docks, ramps, lightning protection system, and cybersecurity measures, and Energy Monitoring Control Systems (EMCS) connection.
