NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT The 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron (1 SOCONS)/PKA intends to award a Purchase Order on a sole-source basis to UFA, INC., located at 10 State ST STE 200, Woburn, MA 01801-6820, for a base period of twelve (12) months with four (4) one-year option periods. The 1 SOCONS/PKA will use Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The authority for restricting competition under simplified acquisition procedures is RFO 12.102(a), Restricting Competition, which states for acquisitions valued at or below the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), document the decision that only one source is available and the basis for the decision.
