Request for Information Integrated eNotifications Service Pilot via Direct Secure Messaging (VA-26-00049664) Introduction The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) has identified a gap in timely visibility into care events occurring outside of VA facilities, particularly for Veterans receiving treatment in community hospitals, emergency departments, and post-acute care settings. Without timely notification of these events, VA care teams may be delayed in coordinating follow-up care, which is especially critical for Veterans identified as high-risk.
