The U.S. Government intends to award, on a sole source basis, a contract to the New Mexico Military Institute to provide lodging, meals, dedicated training facilities, classrooms, sanitation services, and Troop Leadership Advisors (TLAs) for NMMI ROTC Mini Camp. The statutory authority for the sole source procurement of these services is Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.102(a) (DFARS CD 2026-O0028), Restricting Competition, which states, �For acquisitions valued at or below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT), document the decision that only one source is available and the basis for the decision�.
