THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price award for the US Coast Guard Base Kodiak for commercial internet services. The vendor will be GCI COMMUNICATION CORP., 2550 Denali ST STE 1000, Anchorage, Alaska 99503-2751, UEI: L5ANNJF4BKS5. The period of performance will include one base year of services, with one one-year option period. If all options are exercised, performance would expire 30 April 2027. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 12.102, services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source and no other type of services will satisfy agency requirements.
