About this opportunity
The USGS Columbia Environmental Research Center has a requirement for the removal and replacing the existing centrifugal pump and install an appropriately sized VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) and support controls. The removal of the existing centrifugal pump and installing the appropriately sized VFD includes, but not limited to the following: - All circuits shall be installed to the existing Local and National Electrical Code Standard. - Remove the current pump and replace with two (2) redundant inverter- duty centrifugal pumps that meet current needs and support future growth. - Remove the current motor starter and replace with a properly sized VFD and accurately sized circuit protection. - New pump(s) shall be capable of a minimum of 120 feet of head up to maximum of 200 feet of head. -...
