C-5M Replacement Multi-Functional Controls and Displays (RMCD) Program Request for Information The Government is conducting market research to identify possible sources that have the knowledge and experience to deliver a hardware and software system solution to perform all the functions of the legacy Multi-Function Display Units (MFDUs) classified as the C-5M Replacement Multi-Functional Controls and Displays (RMCD) program. This new solution will resolve known diminishing manufacturing source issues with this Line Replaceable Unit (LRU), avoid projected aircraft Mission Incapable for Parts-based grounding issues, and improve overall aircraft availability metrics.
