About this opportunity
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) intends to award a sole source to Thermo Scientific Portable Analytical Instruments, 2 Radcliff Rd, Tewksbury MA 01876 for a repair services agreement on their Thermo Scientific Niton XL3t analyzers. The analyzers are used to screen consumer products for lead and other elements of interest. The equipment must be repaired when needed and returned to the field for operational use. Under the authority of FAR 6.103-1(b), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements; the government believes Thermo Scientific is the sole manufacturer, seller, and authorized service provider of the equipment.
