North Chancery Elevator Replacement, US Embassy Budapest, Hungary This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order. The Department of State intends to award a sole source contract to KONE Felvono Kft, of Budapest, Hungary. The firm fixed-priced order will provide for the supply and installation of three new elevators to replace the three elevators installed in the North Chancery of the U.S. Embassy. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.103-1, the government has determined that KONE Felvono Kft is the only responsible source able to supply and install elevators that are fully integrable with the building�s other KONE elevators and its proprietary controls and firmware.
