Application: KC-135 Main Landing Gear (MLG) and Nose Landing Gear (NLG) Wheel Assemblies 1. General Scope The requested Aircraft Tire Bead Breaker must enable a single technician to quickly and safely break narrow- and wide-body bias and radial tires without causing damage to the wheel halves or rubber. The system must strictly adhere to the safety, maintenance, and operational directives outlined in Air Force Technical Orders (T.O.) 4W1-61, 4W3-2-12-3, 4W1-2-212-2, and 44B-1-3. 2.
