About this opportunity
PURPOSE: To provide and maintain tool and fixture making hardware using a Vendor Managed Inventory System (VMI) for Tool and Fixture hardware and steel in support of Rock Island Arsenal � Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC) Tool Design division. VMI, as defined, is a managing contract account in accordance with generally accepted VMI practices, which optimize supply chain performance. This includes, but not limited to, the resupply of designated items by the vendor through regularly scheduled reviews of on-site inventory counts, removal of damaged or outdated goods, and the re-stocking of inventory to predetermined levels at their specified locations.
