Marion, IL Statement of Work Patient Ceiling Lifts Background: The Marion VA Health Care System is seeking a contractor to furnish all design, site evaluation, labor, materials, and equipment to install permanent ceiling mounted patient care lifts in existing facilities. Many hospital buildings were constructed in the early 1900-1950’s and have limited above ceiling clearance. Additionally, numerous utility systems occupy this space and must be considered when installing new equipment above the ceiling. It is strongly recommended that the contractor perform a thorough site evaluation prior to submitting a proposal.
