The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) by the City of Harrisonburg, Virginia (City) is to solicit sealed bids from interested vendors (Bidder) to asphalt milling and asphalt paving for a portion of the intersection of PortRepublic Road and South Main Street, as detailed in the attached sketch.The project will consist of milling three inches (3â) of the existing pavement surface and replacing with three inches (3â) of asphalt type SMA-12.5, in the area depicted on the attached sketch.The unit prices for milling and asphalt shall include all required traffic control as required by the Virginia Work Area Protection (VA WAP) manual.
