About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone, Operations, Services, & Training Division, plans to obtain information to serve as market research to help identify potential sources that can provide a brand name purchase of one (1) Closed-Circuit Wind Tunnel that will be used by USATA Engineers and Technicians along with a Laser Doppler Velocimetry (LDV) system, a primary standard for air velocity measurement in a wind tunnel. Use of this standard will allow measurement of much lower air speed than is currently achievable and an overall reduction in lab measurement uncertainty.
