About this opportunity
The goal of this procurement is to expand availability of peer-based recovery services through Recovery Community Centers (RCCs) in rural municipalities in Rhode Island through funding from the Rhode Island Rural Health Transformation Program (RIHTP)[1]. The Rhode Island State Office of Rural Health (RISORH) defines rural to include towns with fewer than 25,000 people and lower population density. This definition forms the foundation of our RHTP framework and encompasses 18 towns for possible locations, including: Burrillville, North Smithfield, Foster, Glocester, Scituate, and Smithfield in Providence County; East Greenwich and West Greenwich in Kent County; Charlestown, Exeter, Hopkinton, New Shoreham (the town encompassing Block Island), Richmond, and Westerly in Washington County; and ...
