About this opportunity
The Weatherization Assistance Program is a no-cost program that helps lower-income households reduce their utility bills and increase energy efficiency. The program is implemented locally throughout Oklahoma by service contractors who contract and partner with the Oklahoma Department of Commerce to serve designated areas. The program is funded through the U.S. Department of Energy. Eligible applicants are low-income Oklahoma households (who either rent or own their home) and who are at or below 200% of the poverty level. Priority is given to those 60 years and older, differently abled, families with children, those with high energy burdens and those who are high residential energy users.
