Eligible applicants are neighborhood organizations that hold a ruling from the Internal Revenue Service as nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organizations and operate food programs such as food banks, pantries, and emergency food providers.Projects in this category assist food banks, pantries, and other emergency food providers who provide food to a target population in a distressed area.
