Who can apply
One to four unit primary or secondary (vacation) home, Pennsylvania-deed properties. Must be owner-occupied, no investment properties. Must be affixed to a permanent foundation. Project size range: $2,500 to $25,000. No lien can be filed on your property. Properties owned or held in trust are not eligible. Applicant must meet all credit guidelines. Work must be performed by a NEIF-Approved Contractor who must certify that the primary improvements are listed at energy.gov/products at the time of installation. Financing may include all related work required for installation.

Developed to help Pennsylvania homeowners afford energy efficiency upgrades and reduce energy costs, KEEP Home Energy Loans can be used for a variety of eligible projects performed by pre-approved, qualified contractors. Qualifying projects can include upgrades for heating, cooling, water heating, EV charging, smart home energy management systems, insulation, and certain energy-related improvements to home envelope.
