The project consists of installing approximately 1,200 LF of new 24â interceptor sewers, abandoning in place the existing 12â interceptor sewers, replacing approximately 20 LF 15â and 20 LF of 30â sewer, and replacing the existing CSO 70 regulator. The work area includes private properties and will require construction work within and adjacent to wetlands and creeks. It will also require construction adjacent to and crossing underneath railroad tracks. The CSO 70 sewer improvements project will increase the interceptor capacity and upgrade the CSO regulator with solids and floatable control functions to reduce the overflow volume and trash discharge to the receiving water body.
