Synopsis Supports fundamental research to advance the science and engineering of intelligent dynamic systems, including engineered systems that interact with people. The world around us, from living organisms and natural environments to machines and structures, can be described using the language of dynamic systems. Dynamic systems are networks of interconnected components whose behavior changes in time. Research on dynamic systems seeks to understand how their behavior can be predicted and influenced when important aspects of the system are hidden or unpredictable.
