About this opportunity

The Directorate for Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE) participates in the NSF-wide Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program. The Division of Computer and Network Systems (CNS) manages the REU Site program for CISE. An REU Site should provide research opportunities with a coherent intellectual theme and may be based in a single discipline or academic department or be interdisciplinary and multi-departmental. REU proposals submitted to CISE should have a CISE research focus. Proposals should have a strong computing or cyberinfrastructure aspect and involve CISE majors in the cohorts and CISE faculty researchers as mentors.
