About this archived opportunity
This grant will provide non-profit organizations $4 million in funding per year for three (3) fiscal years: FY 2025-26, FY 2026-27, and FY 2027-28 for a total of $12 million for the grant period to fund innovative programs. The grant period begins on July 1, 2025, and ends on June 30, 2028. The purpose of the IPG is to provide grant funds to non-profit organizations wishing to expand programs they are currently providing in other California state prisons that have demonstrated success and focus on an incarcerated person’s responsibility and restorative justice principles, or to not-for-profit organizations with experience in providing programming in a correctional setting. Innovative programs are insight-oriented with a focus on incarcerated individual responsibility and restorative justice principles in accordance with Penal Code (PC) Section 5027. California State Prison, Corcoran (COR)4. Folsom State Prison (FSP)5. High Desert State Prison (HDSP)6. Kern Valley State Prison (KVSP)7. California State Prison, Los Angeles County (LAC)8. North Kern State Prison (NKSP)9. Pelican Bay State Prison (PBSP)10. Pleasant Valley State Prison (PVSP)11.California State Prison, Sacramento (SAC)12. Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and State Prison (SATF)13. California State Prison, Solano (SOL)14.Wasco State Prison (WSP)
