About this opportunity

The Native Film Workshop program supports workshops for native high school students in collaboration with Colorado’s Ute Mountain Ute and Southern Ute Tribes living both on or off the reservation. These workshops help motivate and inspire students who are struggling to find a passion in high school. In 2018, this workshop funded a two-week intensive summer workshop in partnership with the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe Reservation in Towaoc, Colorado. The Colorado Film School conducted the workshop. During its first year, six high school students created a nine-minute documentary exploring the Ute Mountain Ute Tribal Park.
