Who can apply
Child must be ages 4-14. The participant's parent or legal guardian must be the one completing the application. If applying for more than one individual, a separate application must be completed for each person. Funding is only provided for participants of MLS GO programs and funds will not be provided for other youth soccer programs. Receiving funding for one season does not guarantee applicants will receive funding for future seasons. Financial assistance is only available for upcoming seasons and cannot be used to reimburse previous registrations. This includes if you have already registered your child for this upcoming season (funding will be not provided in a reimbursement style). The MLS GO PLAY FUND offers scholarships for qualifying families. We know that registration fees can be a barrier. The MLS GO PLAY FUND Family Scholarship is here to help qualifying families cover some of the costs of getting their kid on the field. Apply before you register: funding is not available after registration is complete. Apply at least three (3) weeks before your league's registration deadline. If approved, your league operator will waive the fee or issue a discount code. Application Acknowledgments: Child must be ages 4-14.
