Full proposals are due February 11, 2027 at 5 p.m. in the submitting organization’s local time. The listed November 19 deadline is the required concept-outline step. Eligible lead organizations are accredited two- or four-year institutions with a US campus, acting for faculty, and US nonprofit nonacademic organizations associated with education or research. An academic lead PI must be full-time tenured or tenure-track; a nonprofit lead PI needs a continuing appointment through the award with substantial research duties and a project aligned with those duties and the organization’s mission.
