About this opportunity
The Middle Income Housing Authority (MIHA), established by SB22-232, (PDF) and amended by SB23-035, (PDF), is a special-purpose authority independent from the state whose purpose is to promote affordable rental housing projects for the middle-income workforce throughout Colorado. MIHA is currently administered by the Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT). The Authority is governed by a Board of Directors appointed by the Governor with the consent of the Senate, with the addition of two non-voting members of the General Assembly. Rental units in MIHA projects must provide middle-income workforce housing, defined as 80% to 120% area median income (AMI) with stable rents.
