Do your research interests sit outside of our current Requests for Proposals? While funding opportunities are highly competitive, IHS welcomes proposals that hold significant promise for advancing the liberal intellectual tradition. If you have an idea you think might qualify, please apply below. We are especially interested in proposals that bridge disciplines. Research deliverables can include peer-reviewed publications, policy white papers, or shareable research databases. Awardees may also be expected to participate in follow-up programming aimed at sharing and refining their research projects. Please Note: IHS grants cannot support institutional overhead or indirect costs
