In order to accelerate actions to mitigate climate change, Governor Newsom signed Executive Order (EO) N-79-20 in September 2020 and set targets for 100 percent of drayage trucks to be zero emission by 2035, and 100 percent of MDHD vehicles to be zero emission by 2045, for all operations where feasible. Solicitation objectives include: · Supporting MDHD ZEV hydrogen refueling or charging stations along designated corridors to build out infrastructure for the MDHD ZEV goals set forth in EO N-79-20, the Advanced Clean Trucks (ACT) and Advanced Clean Fleet (ACF) regulations, and other applicable statewide goals and regulations. · Supporting a coordinated strategy with other agencies for the MDHD ZEV infrastructure build-out statewide.
